This page explains what Handy Equip ("we") collects when you use handyequip.com, what we do with it, and your choices. Questions: call 845-495-5003 or email Sales@handyequip.com.
What We Collect
- What you send us. When you fill in a quote or contact form, we get what you type: your name, company, phone, email, location and the details of your project. If you attach photos or drawings, we get those files.
- When you call, text, email or message us on WhatsApp, we get your number or address and what you send, like any business call or message.
- Basic technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider records the pages requested, the time, and the browser and device type, to run the site and keep it secure.
- Choices saved in your browser. The site saves small settings in your own browser (for example, a form you started), so they are there when you come back. They stay on your device.
How We Use It
- To answer you, prepare your quote, and deliver and install what you order.
- To follow up on your request and keep records of our work with you.
- To keep the site working, secure and free of spam.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone to market to you.
Who Helps Us
We use a few service providers to run the site. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Vercel hosts the website and stores the files you upload with a form.
- FormSubmit delivers form messages to our email.
- Microsoft 365 runs our email.
- Adobe Fonts supplies the website's fonts.
- Google Maps shows our yard location on some pages.
- Tawk.to runs live chat when chat is turned on. Chat uses cookies to keep your conversation open.
Links to Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.
If we add website analytics (for example Google Analytics) to measure visits, we will list it here first.
How Long We Keep It
We keep quote requests, messages and files as long as we need them to serve you and for our normal business and tax records. Ask us and we will delete what we do not have to keep.
Your Choices
- Ask us what we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it: Sales@handyequip.com or 845-495-5003.
- Ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
- You can clear the settings the site saved in your browser through your browser's settings.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
